Anumay Foundation was born out of a simple but urgent realisation: that talent, ambition and resilience are distributed equally across India, but opportunity is not..

The name ‘Anumay’ reflects our founding belief — that compassion, when combined with consistent action, becomes a force capable of transforming lives. Every project we run, every rupee we spend, and every partnership we build is guided by this belief.

Today, Anumay Foundation runs programmes in education, healthcare, livelihood generation, women empowerment, child protection and disaster response, working closely with local communities, government schemes, corporate partners and individual well-wishers to create change that lasts well beyond our presence.

How We Work

Anumay Foundation follows a community-first model. Before starting any project, our field team conducts a detailed needs assessment in partnership with local leaders, government departments and community members.

Programmes are then designed around actual, on-ground needs — not assumptions — and are continuously monitored through field visits, data tracking and third-party evaluations to ensure real impact.

We complement, rather than duplicate, government welfare schemes — helping eligible families access entitlements such as ration cards, scholarships and health insurance, while filling the gaps that government infrastructure alone cannot always reach.
